The Allentown (PA) Morning Call (9/15) reports on the use of laptop computers in schools in Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania, where several districts “have launched 1:1 programs, so named for the ratio of laptops to students.” While “state and federal education departments don’t track the number of such programs,” at least four in the region make laptops and iPads available to students.
