New York Spends High Amount On Education In Total And Per Pupil.


The AP (9/16) summarizes the New York State Association of School Business Officials report, which found that the state spent an average of $21,812 per student high above the national average of $12,000 per student provided by the Education Department. The report also found that state spending on education was higher than $60 billion, which is a 3% increase over last year.
