Arizona Attorney General Finds Parents Have No Right To Withdraw Children From Standardized Tests.

The Havasu (AZ) News-Herald (10/13, Fischer) reports Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich says that parents do not have a legal right to withdraw their children from standardized testing. Arizona state schools chief Diane Douglas asked Brnovich’s office to investigate the matter after parents requested to withdraw their students. Brnovich says parents only have the right to withdraw their children from school materials that they find objectionable, but not standardized tests.
