Delaware Considering Sanctioning Schools With High Opt-Out Rates.


The Wilmington (DE) News Journal (10/12, Albright) reports that as Delaware education officials work to create a new school accountability system, as required by ED, they are also looking at ways to reduce the number of testing opt-outs. The state is considering lowering the scores of schools whose testing rates fall below ED’s 95% threshold.
