The Pasadena (CA) Now (10/9) reports California Governor Jerry Brown signed AB 288 College and Career Access Pathways Act, which will provide greater access to college courses and career and technical education classes to high school students. The bill was sponsored by California Assembly Majority Leader Chris Holden who said, “We need to expand opportunities for a broad range of students or lose our competitive edge with other states and other nations.”
