Michigan Senate Panel Approves Legislation To Allow Concealed Weapons In Schools.


USA Today (10/14, Egan) reports a Michigan Senate Panel approved legislation that would allow people to carry concealed weapons in schools, but would prohibit people from open carrying in schools. Educators spoke out against the bill saying they do not want guns in schools. Michigan Governor Rick Snyder has vetoed similar legislation in the past.
