Wisconsin State Representative Introduces Bill Requiring Transgender Students To Use Bathrooms For Their Biological Sex.

The Madison (WI) Capital Times (10/8, Opoien) reports Wisconsin state representative Jesse Kremer has introduced a bill to the state legislature that “would require school boards to designate school restrooms and locker rooms for use by one gender exclusively.” If passed, the bill would require transgender students to “use facilities designated for their biological gender, not the gender with which they identify.” The AP (10/8) adds that state senator Steve Nass is also sponsoring a similar bill in the state senate.
