New Report Has “Transformational Vision” For The Future Of US Education.

The Hechinger Report (9/30, Dobo) highlighted a new report entitled “A transformational vision for education in the US” that was released on Tuesday. The report was supported by a diverse group of 28 leaders including teacher union presidents, charter school advocates, and business leaders. The report was compiled by a nonprofit called Convergence that guided the parties towards consensus to reach conclusions about the future of American education. The report concludes that education needs to change to adapt to modern life.
