Louisiana Governor Spending At Least $830,000 In Public Funds To Fight Common Core In Court.


The New Orleans Times-Picayune (10/1, O'Donoghue) reports Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal “has agreed to spend $830,000 in public funds on his two failed legal cases fighting the Common Core academic standards in state and federal court.” The majority of that funding will go to his former executive counsel Jimmy Faircloth who is handling both cases and their appeals.
