The Las Vegas Sun (3/9, Takahashi) reports on Nevada's Clark County Schools system's school for "300 inmates at the High Desert Correctional Center in Indian Springs." The school is operated by the district and the Nevada Department of Corrections. "The district provides the teachers and supplies," while the center offers "classrooms and security." The article describes a visit by Clark County Schools Superintendent Dwight Jones to the school which offers "either a high school diploma or the General Educational Development certificate." And "Jones seems impressed."
