New survey reveals workers suffer from “information rage”

A new survey conducted by LexisNexis revealed that white-collar workers are suffering from what is called "information rage," meaning workers are overwhelmed by the amount of data flooding the workplace. The survey of 1,700 people in China, the United Kingdom, the United States, South Africa, and Australia identified that almost one in two employees is affected by this, and dejection and frustration are prominent emotions among workers. Forty-nine percent said they are unable to manage all the information they are given, and 51 percent of respondents said they are close to giving up.
