Many Colorado Districts Opting For Four-Day Week Though Savings Are Scant

The Denver Post (10/2, Simpson) reports that the school district in Weld County, Colorado, has joined a number of others in the state in switching to a four-day school week. The piece notes, however, that such moves are controversial, and result in little more than a 2.5% decrease in operating costs.
