California Test Question Photos Show Up On Social Media.
The Los Angeles Times (4/28, Blume) reported that "hundreds" of photos of California standardized tests have been published on social media websites, "raising concerns about test security and cheating by students." The piece notes that the breaches could "lead to invalidating test scores for entire schools or prevent the state from using certain tests. For now, officials have warned school districts to heighten test security and investigate breaches." The Times notes some of the security protocols being used, reports that state schools are currently administering the California Standards Tests, and explains the circumstances under which a school's tests could be invalidated.
